There is a centuries-old tradition of tolerance and freedom in Nagano, Japan. It was 1400 years ago that the Zenkoji temple first opened its doors welcoming all pilgrims regardless of gender or creed.

Part of its legend is the belief that in this temple is the “key to paradise” which is said to grant enlightenment to anyone who touches it.

The Church of Scientology Mission of Nagano is committed to accomplishing these same ideals, with its aims, as stated by Scientology founder, L. Ron Hubbard, “A civilization without insanity, without criminals and without war, where the able can prosper and honest beings can have rights, and where man is free to rise to greater heights. ”

Dedicated to helping others gain a greater understanding of themselves and their potential as spiritual beings the executives and staff of the new mission provide basic Scientology and Dianetics courses, and Dianetics counseling to the people of the region.
